Organised a students seminar in collabaration with the department of Biotechnology in commemoration of SIR Gregor Johann Mendel(1822-1884)-Father of Genetics on the topic “Mendelian Revolution” on 22-7-2014.
Departmental Activities 2015-16
Organized a Student activity on the eve of Ganesh Chathurdhi on 28.8.2014- Identification of Plants, Collection of Leaves and Distribution of these leaves to college Students and faculty (For Ekavinshathi Pooja).
Plantation Programme on 04.9.14 in the college campus. Dr.Sr.Rekha, Faculty members of Botany and IIIB.Sc(CBZ&BIOTECH) Students Participated.

30.11.15-Biological tour-Department of Botany & Zoology conducted biological tour to IIOPR(INDIAN INSTITUTE OF OIL PALM RESEARCH) Pedavegi(W.G.D.T). Medicinal plant collection at Buddhavaram.
1.2.16-Invited lecture on Biodiversity Conservation by Dr.P.Ramachandra Prasad IIIT ,Gachibowli,Hyd.

OBSERVED A NUMBER OF PLANTS INCLUDING SRIGANDHAM. COLLECTED MEDICINAL FOR HERBARIUM PREPARATION .COLLECTED NUMBER OF MEDICINAL PRODUCTS AND PLANTS
III B.Sc Bio-Technology and C.B.Z students visited to VSR Nursery at Manipal Hospital, Vijayawada, as a part of their curriculum.
