Student Achievements

Few of our B.S.C C.B.Z and Biotechnology students participated in Elocution, debate , Essay writing competitions on ‘’Awareness on Environmental issues’’ at Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada on 13.11.2009 and also participated in the Biofest seminar –quiz at Nalanda degree college, Vijayawada on18.1109.

•      G.SushmaSri of IIB.SC [Biotec] participated in’’ Biosasthra 2k10’’ National Seminar on topic’’ Forrays to Environment’’ at A.L.C, Vijayawada and secured II prize in poster model presentation

•      III B.Sc. students participated in the   National Seminar on --Lake Kolleru –Wetland Ecosystem ,conflict between  Development ,Environment    on 2 and 3^rd February 2011 Organised by Department of Biotechnology, Krishna University, Machilipatnam & APPCB .

•      Paper presentations had been given by the Students (III B.Sc CBZ 2009-12) in the National Seminar on “Youth towards New Trends in Biotechnology” – 26^th & 27 Aug 2011. Organized by Maris Stella College Vijayawada.

•         Stephanie Wrightman of III B.Sc Biotechnology attended a National Seminar on Biodiversity Conservation – Present Status on 23^rd and 24^th Jan 2014 and presented a paper on Biodiversity relevant to human health at JMJ College for women – Tenali.

•         B. Rajyalakshmi of III B.Sc Biotechnology attended a National Seminar on Biodiversity Conservation – Present Status on 23^rd and 24^th Jan 2014 and presented a paper on Global Warming at JMJ College- Tenali.

•          A. Rachel of III CBZ attended a National Seminar on Biodiversity Conservation – Present Status on 23^rd and 24^th Jan 2014 and presented a paper on Global Warming at JMJ College for women- Tenali.

•         Stephanie Wrightman, B. Rajyalakshmi, Y. Nikitha, O.Nagalakshmi, S. Shilpa Priya of III B.Sc Biotechnology attended a National Conference on 27^th and 28^th Jan 2014 at Andhra Loyola College and presented a paper on Modern Approaches to Conservation of Medicinal Plants.

•         A. Rachel of III CBZ attended a National Conference on 27^th and 28^th Jan 2014 at Andhra Loyola College and presented a paper on Modern Approaches to Conservation of Medicinal Plants.

•         Stephanie Wrightman and B. Rajyalakshmi of III B.Sc Biotechnology attended a National Seminar on Green Chemistry- its impact on environmental protection and presented a paper on Isolation of Microorganisms from water bodies on 6^th Feb, 2014 at CR Reddy college- Eluru.

•         Stephanie Wrightman attended an Annual Conference of Andhra Pradesh Economic Association and presented a paper on Economic issues pertaining to Horticulture crops on 8^th and 9^th of Feb, 2014 at Maris Stella College- Vijayawada.
